Traffic

Speed and volume of traffic through the village is an ongoing concern.

In 2014 kerbs were installed along a number of roads in the village. While protecting the verges they have also contributed to a notable reduction in speed as it is more difficult for vehicles to pass side by side.

Details of traffic survey undertaken in 2015 can be viewed here

Traffic Survey

The Parish Plan due to be published late Summer/early Autumn reviews options for tackling traffic concerns.

Highways

Ensuring that roads are maintained, resolving issues such as potholes and blocked drains and liaising with Hampshire Highways Authority is a contstant effort.

After Councillor Wooles ongoing persistance it was pleasing to report in November that the flooding issue outside the Plough had finally been resolved.
